Suffusion Translation in French with child theme: can't get it to work!

    Hello Everyone!

    I have tried to get suffusion work in French for a while now, with no success so far…

    As instructed:
    I setup a child theme for suffusion (called suffusionforFlo), created a ‘translation’ subdirectory, and put the files suffusion-fr.po & suffusion-fr.mo downloaded from the aquoid.com site, which I renamed suffusion-fr_FR.po & suffusion-fr_FR.mo since I run wordpress in French and the WPLANG is set to ‘fr_FR’. It doesn’t work….

    I also tried to put those .mo and .po files
    – in the suffusion/translation/ directory
    – in the wp-content/languages/themes/ directory (with both name suffusion and suffusionforFlo)
    … None of this works!!!

    So what am I doing wrong?!? Or what did I forget to do?!?
