For quite some time now I realize that ever more internet users use their tablet pc (and meanwhile even I too). The problem with the Suffusion Menu however is that on the tablet it is impossible to get the dropdown to open and THEN select a menu option.
Instead, it always opens the menu header link when all you do is try to open the menu first.
Have you already thought about this problem, and do you know of an EASY solution for non-programmers to use?
Thanks again for all your effort with the most beautiful theme!
I create a blank link, that when clicked does nothing but open the menu (or sub menu).
In the Menu settings, I add a “custom link”. If I recall correctly, wordpress will not let me add a blank custom link. So I temporarily mkae an arbitraty link and then add it to the menu.
Add it to the menu, and then remove the URL. Now, (in this example) there will be a menu item call “Classifieds”, that when clicked does nothing.
Then I add real menu items (pages or whatever) as a submenu of “classifieds”. Now when clicking on “classifieds”, a proper menu of items drops down.
Works with sub menus also.
It is a hack. It seems weird to me adding a “placeholder” menu item is not a core wordpress option, but has nothing to do with what theme you use, as far as I know.
