# Sufficient Permissions Error

 * I’m usually pretty good at solving these issues quickly – but not today. Technology
   is NOT my friend.
 * I’m not sure if the error began with an update of WordPress or the install of
   a plugin.
 * When I attempt to access posts or pages (the error ONLY occurs there) I get the
   following error:
 * You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page
 * I tried the forced upgrade – and found mostly instructions that are 2-3 years
   old. I don’t trust following fixes that are that old.
 * Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?
 * My good mood is rapidly declining

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
