 * No, it doesn’t. The accented vowels don’t show up right.
    Did your host make 
   a “sudden” upgrade or something? Maybe your encoding settings are overridden 
   by the host? (I remember reading somewhere about it – especially in older versions,
   and you are using 1.2.2)
