  • It was a great product, then suddenly they asked to pay for restore, in practice now they ask us money if we want to have back our backups made when the operation was free! It seems me an extortion …

    Hi

You can use import from file in order to restore your backups.
If you reach the upload limit of your hosting provider, use this article to resolve it How-to: Increase maximum upload file size

Hi, thank you for your reply.

I want to tell you that the problem isn’t your change of policy, but the way you introduced it: no big warning, no messages before update the version. I discovered that when I NEEDED a restore… on a customer website!

You’r plug-in is for sure the best one, so that I trusted blindly on it to be safe. Now I know that you can make me some “jokes”, I have at least to reed any next change logs.

I’m thinking of buying it, of course, but unfortunately isn’t so cheap that I can buy it without evaluation.

You should always read the changelogs of every plugin before updating it. Always do it.

If you have used the feature before – why do you need an evaluation? I am confused.

As Bobby mentioned before me, you can import your backup via file import or you can extract the backup with this tool and upload your site content manually via FTP.
