Check your settings page, maybe some checkbox was checked earlier and now that’s unchecked. It works only when settings are appropriate. Another clue is, maybe some other script is interrupting this plugin JavaScript because JavaScript will make your items sortable which hover.
Well, I haven’t changed the checkboxes, and they still show the same as 2 days ago. How would I know if some other script is interfering?
And thanks for the quick response…
A Question, though: I was really trying to find a plugin that just “reverses” the normal WP sort order. Is that something you could create? Just a thought.
I can answer first part of your query, you can check console with F12 so there will be some JavaScript error if plugin is throwing some unhandled exceptions.
Well, it suddenly reappeared. Not sure why…I was editing a few posts and saving. Does that do anything to the sort order, or to the “mover” appearing?
Your browser wasn’t responding well to the scripts loaded through your website. It happens when we are having some issues with server response time. Don’t worry.
Yes, everything appears to be working right now. Question, does this work also on Woocommerce Products?
Thanks!
Yes, you need to check the box with post_type product.
Hi Fahad, I checked the box “post_type product”, and yes, I can move them around. My question is, does this only work on the product page? It doesn’t seem to work on the cart page or the checkout page. They seem to be sorted by the order that I add them to the cart.
Thanks for your help!
This plugin works on admin side mostly, for posts, categories, pages and also plugin sorting functionality. It is not for the shop or cart pages.
Okay, thanks for your quick reply. Also, If I edit the publish date of a post, will that change the order (after I’ve re-ordered using the plugin)?
