Sudden stop in indexing – Yoast WP SEO
-
Around 10 days ago I moved from the reliable Headspace 2 to Yoast’s WordPress SEO on the basis of rave reviews. Before moving, most of my pages were ranked well enough to satisfy.
Each day I checked site:sitename.co.uk to check my indexation, and it usually trailed by no more than three days.
After the ‘upgrade’, traffic dropped off alarmingly and when I check ‘site’, and click on ‘cache’ option I see that the site has not been indexed since since I made the switch.
I assumed it was a sitemap failure and disabled the built-in XML and re-enabled the trusty Workpress plug in. Still, no indexation!
I imported all data from Headspace, so can’t understand the stop in indexing, and the alarming fall in my SERPS.
Can anyone please help me.
