Hi @sami770,
Thank you for reaching out.
I understand you’re facing trouble with the translation of your site after updating WooCommerce to the latest version.
Could you please clarify the WooCommerce version you are currently using in your site?
Also, are you using any plugins for further translations in your store? If you are, please ensure that all your translation files are updated to newer versions. Verify that the translation files for Hebrew are present and correctly named in the WooCommerce directory.
Thank you,
My woo version is 9.2.2
“Also, are you using any plugins for further translations in your store?” – I am using the loco plugin, and i face a strange behavior: some items in my cart and checkout pages DOES respond to changes i made with loco but some DONT – see the screenshot: https://ibb.co/jrVrRjb
When I uninstall loco plugin, i still see these places not translated.
Yes, I do have the woocommerce-he_IL.po file on my /public_html/wp-content/languages/plugins directory, it seems that this file is updated, I don’t see any notifications for a new available updates on my wp updates page.
What else can be done to finally fix this?!?

Hi @sami770,
Thank you for getting back to us with further details on this.
After further investigations, I can see that the issue was reported as an issue here. As a next step, I recommend subscribing to this GitHub PR for real-time notifications and further details on a possible workaround.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Thanks so much for that,
I am not a dev, but what i could somewhat figure out from the github thread is that:
- There is already a temporary solution (which I have no idea how to apply, I will be very happy to here from you how to do it).
- A bug fix is expected to be included on the next woocommerce release (9.3)
Did I get it right?

Hi @sami770
There is already a temporary solution (which I have no idea how to apply, I will be very happy to here from you how to do it).
No temporary solution is shared on that GitHub PR page; our dev made a fix, which has been merged and is waiting for the release as an update. So, you do not need to do anything or follow any steps shared on the PR page.
A bug fix is expected to be included on the next woocommerce release (9.3)
Exactly, or even it could be released as 9.2.3 as well.
In the meantime, you can temporarily switch to the classic checkout block or shortcode. Both should work just as well. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-store-editing/customizing-cart-and-checkout/#reverting-to-the-classic-cart-and-checkout
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Do we have any clue when the next release (that will contain the bug fix) will be released? does it say something about it on the github thread?
This is quite urgent.
Switching to the classic checkout is not an option for me, so currently my site visitors get a funny buying experience, seeing some parts in Hebrew and some in English!

Hi @sami770
Currently, it’s not possible to say the expected date. However, I would suggest following our developer blog here.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this will provide some clarity. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
