Sucuri Shows Malware on GTM plugin

    Our client website is running on Genesis and we are using Securi which shows a Malware issue with the GTM WP plugin:

    Site error detected. Details: http://sucuri.net/malware/php-error-fatal-error?v6
    <b>Fatal error</b>: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in <b>/home/peak2015wwa/public_html/clientwebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/duracelltomi-google-tag-manager/integration/whichbrowser/data/models-android.php</b> on line <b>10195</b><br />

    Hi

    That’s actually a security warning, not a malware warning. It’s because the scan is returning a 500 error. This can be for a variety of reasons, doesn’t always mean they have malware.

    Thanks @perezbox for the answer, I couldn’t post a better one 🙂
    @trinityriver your site might use less memory as it needs, you should check your PHP settings if it is accessible for you. In the meantime you should deactivate browser/os/device tracking in my plugin setting if you do not need those data in the dataLayer.
