Good day. I have Sucuri on a wordpress site. I keep getting an email alert everytime I do something on the site. i want to stop the alerts. When i go to settings, i get this error:

→UnexpectedValueException thrown RecursiveDirectoryIterator::__construct(/nas/wp/www/cluster-2934/bahamafood/.git) [recursivedirectoryiterator.–construct]: failed to open dir: Permission denied

How do I stop the email alerts, and what is this error message about?

    Thanks for your attention.

  • This happen because the .git directory mentioned in the warning message is probably read-only, so one of the file system scanners (there are six in total) is not able to read the content inside it.

This bug was already fixed with changeset 1010806, but for now while the new version of the plugin is released you can hide this error by changing the Scanning Interface from the Scanner Settings panel located in the plugin settings page, you can use OpenDir as the default function for now.
