Gives me error headers whenever I try to save or post something.
Uses a FREE translation tool (Yandex) not bad however they want you to pay 70$ for a license so that it pings the Yandex server faster. That’s right it’s like it would push you away from your computer if you dared to touch Google Translate every 4 mins.

Does not support multilang Sitemap.xml which is against the whole purpose of it being a “traffic booster”. You can submit the alt. lang of your posts manually however the plugin keeps only logs of 10 last translated pages. So enjoy copy pasting a lot!

I’d advice picking up POLYLANG which is completely free and has multilang sitemap functionality and a real translating tool that you can download as a plugin without stupid limits. Worst part is when this plugin screws up, if you disable it your pages disappear.

Also “support” site is just a clickbank purchase page. Ho ho!

    Dear bigguybane
I’m happy to see that you have created a WP account a few hours ago just in order to submit this review 😉
I’d like more details about the error headers you’re reporting: this could help me to improve the quality of the plugin.
About the other comments, honestly it seems that you just want to take advantage of promoting another product which has a completely different intent. GT was developed in order to offer completely automatic translations, not assisted ones; the sitemap integration will probably be added but please note that the plugin already adds the alternate links on all the headers of the pages and, for Google indexing purposes, this feature is comparable to use a multilingual sitemap.
Finally, I think that offering a commercial, faster, optimized and fully supported version cannot be defined as a “scam”: if you are interested on these features you can buy, if after buying you’re not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund, otherwise just use the free version.
