Success page shortcode

  • I am new to WordPress so there is probably a very simple solution for this.
I’m just trying to add a success page to the shortcode and am not too sure how. Here’s what I currently have:
    [fu-upload-form form_layout=’post_media’ success_page=’http://www.urbantribesblog.com/post-submitted’]
It is currently just taking me back to the same form page instead of to the url.
    How should I format this?

    Thank you!

    Hey,

I wasn’t able to reproduce in my dev environment. However, I did check your website and i’ve noticed that the success_page parameter is absent in your upload form.

Here’s the shortcode I used locally to test:
    [fu-upload-form form_layout="post_media" success_page='http://wp-plugins.dev/?p=2']

So I’d suggest to try to test the shortcode with different URLs and see if it works or not. You can view the source of the page where the form is and search for success_page hidden input, if it’s there the redirect should work.

Also, if you could provide details about your environment that might help me to track down the issue (server software, php version, wordpress version, etc)

Oh and also I’ve noticed that your success_page has www in the url but your website lives at http://urbantribesblog.com/ not http://www.urbantribesblog.com/ so you might want to try removing www
