I’ve had issues with inserting my PayWay shortcodes to the success and failure page generated by WooCommerce. After inserting the codes I could no longer even edit those pages, they would redirect to the homepage (And the shopping process using the PayWay would end in a successful transaction but WooCommerce wouldn’t finish the order but would register it (it would be in a manual mode for ending the order) and after 20 min it would go from “Pending payment” status to “Failed” status after 20 min.

I deleted the success and failure pages and hoped that they would regenerate with the option from the “Tools” tab install all the missing WooCommerce pages. But the “canceling URL” and “your order has been successfully completed” did not regenerate. What can I do? My PayWay support told me to try and delete and then install WooCommerce again, but I’m afraid of losing my products I already inserted (some 800 of them). HELP PLEASE!

    Hi!

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about the problems you have run into.

It sounds like there is an issue with the PayWay plugin you are using, so I am glad you have reached out to them for help.

As far as getting WooCommerce back to default, you could copy the missing files over manually or re-install. Those pages that you mentioned will not be restored using the tool.

Just make sure you take a complete backup before you do just in case. That way you have a point you can restore to.

    I hope this helps!

So you’re saying I can delete WooCommerce and install it again, and I shouldn’t lose the products inserted?
But I would rather try and copy the missing files, but where can I find them?

I will make a backup of course.

    Hey there!

You can delete WooCommerce and reinstall without losing your products, yes.

If you didn’t want to do that, you can install the plugin again using FTP. Here’s a guide on doing that: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/

    Hi @gigamlat,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
