# Subversion says Commit Failed Access Forbidden

 * I am trying to update a plugin using tortoise svn and wordpress repository and
   its saying
 * Commit failed (details follow):
    access to ‘/!svn/act/9cbfbcc3-f4a7-2f4a-a218-
   548c601211d3’ forbidden
 * Anyone know why its doing this and how to fix it?
 * I need to update one of my plugins and it wont let me
 * thanks

 * Ah that would explain it. As it would let me download the current files but just
   wouldnt let me commit the changes. It gave me the above message

 * No idea. I’m only repeating a message from the tech ninja who (I assume) is currently
   working on the SVN repository.
