    Hi,

I am a long time user of RPWWT and would love to be able to also display posts’ subtitles, with an appropriate balance of font sizes between the titles and subtitles.

Is this something you have considered, or could look at?

For example, on this blog which uses subtitles for all posts (RPWWT on the right): https://shrinkwrap.blog/

    Thanks 🙂

What is the source of these subtitles? Do you use a custom field for a subtitle?

    It’s a plugin called Subtitles.

It’s not perfect – has not been updated in a while. It just creates an entry field on the post edit page, and manages font size differences behind the scenes.

I took a look at Subtitles. I will not implement the use of subtitles, at all I am very hestitant to implement any support of 3rd party plugins.

But if you do not use the excerpts in the list you can get the effect of Shortcodes via the use of the excerpt field of each post. RPWWT takes an filled excerpt field as source automatically unless the checkbox “Ignore post excerpt field…” is activated. Copy the subtitles into the excerpt fields, activate “Show excerpt?” in RPWWT and you get the effect.
