    I have two unrelated questions. First, is it possible to make the author/date subtitle be the “heading font” instead of the “primary font”? I can’t find the relevant CSS, but I assume it’s there. Second, is there a way to make the primary sidebar appear on the side, rather than the top? Thanks?

    You can add this CSS to the site to change the font of the author/date below the post titles:

    .post-meta {
      font-family: 'Open Sans';
    }

    Make sure to update the name of the font above (Open Sans) to the same font used for the headings.

    Moving the primary sidebar requires a lot of customization, so I cannot provide the complete code for it, but there are some notes you can follow in this thread for getting that done.
