Subscription form / Privacy

Hi.
I know jetpack subscriptions it’s double opt-in because users receive a confirmation email with a link.
I’ve been reading about the EU Privacy Police entering May 25 trying to understand what it’s and how to comply with it in my personal blog. One of the things I’ve seen repeated in several sites it’s that with the new normative there should be a check-in box directly in the subscription form.
What do you know about this? Is there a way we can add something like this ourselves in our forms? Are you planning an update ahead of May 25 to include this?
