[Resolved] Subscription emails

  • Here’s a quick question. I am currently using a plugin to send out new post notifications to 113 subscribers. It has been working flawlessly until this week, when the email account I use to send out the emails was flagged for spam by Rackspace. No more emails than I send out, I fail to understand why that happened, but so be it.

I was wondering about using Jetpack to do that service for me. If I do, do the emails come from WordPress, hopefully bypassing the spam filters, or will they be sent from my own email account?

I just want to get my eggs in a roll before I make the jump.

  • The emails have your blog name in the from line, but the sending address is donotreply@wordpress.com.

Keep in mind that you cannot upload your address list to this system. You have to email them from some other system and invite them to re-enroll in the new system.

Okay, that’s what I thought. I can easily invite everyone to subscribe to the new system.

    Thanks for the clarification.
