Subscription checkboxes not working

    I updated my Mailster and Mailster for Woocommerce plugins to the latest versions (3.2.3 and 1.7.1 respectively) but the subscription checkboxes on my checkout page and comments/reviews forms don’t seem to be working. I am using WordPress 6.1.1, WooCommerce 7.3.0, and PHP 8.1. Is there any way to fix this?

    I have narrowed it down slightly.

    An email address won’t subscribe when submitted through the WooCommerce checkout unless the “subscribe when the order is complete” setting is on.

    Subscriptions when posting a comment or review come through but stay “pending” because no email is sent to confirm the subscription if double opt-in is turned on. The double opt-in setting doesn’t work for the woocommerce subscriptions either.
