# subscribers Posting?

 * I found three new posts last night from users that have the role of “Subscriber”
   They should not be able to post at all, we don’t have any plugins installed that
   allow for such a thing.
    How can I check the permissions of all the user roles?

 * Have not been to find any reference to a page or code that the users permissions
   can be checked or modified. 90% of that page just goes over what the roles are.

 * Something to check (or rather uncheck) …
    In your WP Admin Dashboard, Settings
   > General. Scroll down to Membership. If “Anyone can register” is checked, uncheck
   it.
