    Hi Mailpoet team,

I am using Mailpoet 3 to send a welcome letter to the new subscribers, when I sent the welcome email, the status of the welcome email was sent, but no emails has been received by the subscribers.
I’ve created one sign up form for the new user to enter their email, once they entered the email address, they would be added in to a list called ‘List1’. The settings for the welcome letter is it would be sent out when someone has been added to ‘List1’.
Could you help me to solve this? Thank you in advanced!!
    Kind regards,
    Karen

  • Hey @karentong777,

If the email is showing as “Sent” in the MailPoet plugin, I’d assume the problem is related to the email deliverability.

What is the sending method you’re using to send your emails?

    Hi @wysija ,

I am using SMTP method to send the emails, and I can receive the test email using this method.

@karentong777, can you please send a preview to https://www.mail-tester.com/ and check if you’re having any deliverability issues with your SMTP method?

    Hi @wysija ,

Could you please help me to see if there is any problems with SMTP method?
    The following are the results:

We check if the server you are sending from is authenticated
[SPF] taubepilates.com does not allow your server 65.61.219.35 to use louise@taubepilates.com -1
Your message is not signed with DKIM -1
You do not have a DMARC record
Your reverse DNS does not match with your sending domain.
Your domain name taubepilates.com is assigned to a mail server.
Your hostname dpmailmta02.doteasy.com is assigned to a server. ”

    The total score is 8/10.

    Hi @karentong777,

Yes, it seems you don’t have an SPF and DKIM set up for your domain.

This could be affecting your deliverability.

You can read here how to add or edit your SPF record to help you set up an SPF record in your host’s DNS records.

If you are sending emails with your own website and want to set up DKIM, please contact your host company support. They will be able to set up your DKIM.
