My husband is a registered subscriber, and he received my most recent post – as did I (admin@kiwiearthmother.com). My email was logged (the top one in the list below), but his wasn’t, so I’m none the wiser as to whether or not my other subscribers received my new post or not (sent at last night, New Zealand time):

    G’day kiwiearthmother.com,

How is your post sent to your subscribers? If you’re using a specific plugin for that, please tell me which one so that I can investigate.

When you look at the detailed view of one email log, does it tell you anything about BCC: recipients? I’m guessing that you are on the To: list, and perhaps subscribers are all BCC’d.

    cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,

Thank you for getting back. There was a time lag of a day, and then the emails showed up in the log. Now the logs are happening in real time, so all good.

    Many thanks

    G’day Sharon,

So the emails were received before they appeared in the log? How strange! I don’t even… 🙂

    cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,
I now have a new problem – my last post went into the spam folder for both my test emails?
    Hope you can help,
    Sharon

    G’day Sharon,

Debugging why emails end up in the spam folder is tricky, and beyond the scope of this plugin. I’d suggest you start by looking at:

    * email headers to see if they explain why they were marked as spam
    * whether email headers inc. From: and Reply-To: are valid
    * create an SPF record for your domain

There’s lots of info within reach of a google search for ensuring your emails don’t end up in the spam folder.

    cheers,
    Ross
