I’m sandbox testing this plugin on my site (the members section of which is appropriately called The Sandbox) and while the implementation and setup was very user friendly, I found that the protected posts are being emailed- full body of the post- to my blog’s subscribers. Without a toggle switch to turn off emails to subscribers there’s really not much motivation for them to pay for content.

I was going to ask the plugin developers if there was a workaround, but unless you pay the $97 they don’t seem to like question. Shame, otherwise it’s a really easy to use setup.

(I just added a code snippet plugin to disable automatic subscriber emails; we’ll see if that helps)

    Hi @occultvibrations,

I sincerely apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I apologize for the delay as we don’t frequently check reviews as much as we check the support forums.

You are able to reach out on the WordPress support forums to try and solve your problems/questions regarding this.

You are able to reach out for free for questions on the following link –

This will reach our email support department.

Please let me know if the code snippet helps and I will have our development team look into adding this as a core feature. We do offer an email template add-on to disable emails –

Would you mind opening a support thread so I may assist you and help solve the problem you are facing?

    Thank you!

I’m not sure what “disable automatic subscriber emails” is, but if it’s another plugin let us know in the forums and we’ll see if we can make it play nice with PMPro restrictions.
