  • Is anyone else getting blog post notices blocked by gmail? I’ve received 3 messages from the mail system saying:

“Our system has detected an unusual rate of 421-4.7.28 unsolicited mail originating from your IP address. To protect our 421-4.7.28 users from spam, mail sent from your IP address has been temporarily 421-4.7.28 rate limited”

As I am only sending blog post notifications that subscribers signed up to receive, I am surprised that this message is saying the email notifications are “unsolicited”.

I just started receiving these messages yesterday, even though I’ve been using MailPoet for some time now. And I haven’t changed my post notification template.

Is this a known MailPoet glitch or something?

    Hi @jenjen65

This is not related to MailPoet, but with the score of your emails according to Gmail. What’s your current sending method? Are you sending those emails with your own website?

Hi. Thanks for the speedy response 🙂 I’m just sending them through my site. They automatically go out when I publish a post.
