Subscribe2 Only Sending to 1/3 of Subscribers

Plugin version: 9.4
Total Subscribers: 96
Host: godaddy
Email frequency: “each post”
Other plugins: Akismet, Genesis Simple Sidebars, Gravity Forms, Jetpack, Simple Social Icons, W3 Total Cache, Email Log “by Sudar”

Issue:
I have yet to be able to send notifications with Subscribe2 to my *entire* list of subscribers. The delivery stops (according to the Email Log Plugin recommended to use) at either 1/3 or 1/2 through the list (32-54 emails).

Called godaddy and they say the emails that are not being “logged” by “Email Log” are not hitting their systems. However, we didn’t check all of the “bad sends.” I gave them one example and they say it DID hit their system but the email address never showed up in the “Email Log.”

I’ve read all the FAQ’s and searched high-low for some insight…no joy.

@mattyrob – I love this plugin…I just need to get it to work for me.

Any ideas on this is greatly appreciated.

Still working through this issue with godaddy.

Question to the hive: Has anyone been able to successfully resolve delivery issues with GODADDY? If so, what was the fix? Was it something you did or something that GODADDY had to fix?

Appreciate any feedback.

Sorry for dropping in but why do you want to have Email frequency: “each post” ? Have you tried bulk, i.e. BCC emails?

I’ve seen in a majority of the rest of the forum threads that using the Restrict the number of recipients per email option should be kept to “1” instead of “0” for unlimited.

Have you been successful sending mail (with GODADDY) with a setting of “0”?

From memory the best setting combination for GoDaddy is:

1 recipient per email
On-domain sender
Use SMTP plugin to channel emails via GoDaddy email relay
Still speak to GoDaddy to ensure your account if flagged to allow all this.

Do you think that 1 recipient per email is the best option? I use 40 per email. Do you think that may be perceived as spam by some recipient servers? After how many subscribers do you think in general the use of 1 per email becomes problematic?

I do not use GODDADY but I use 40 for the Restrict the number of recipients per email option.

1 is probably the most reliable in terms of email delivery however increasing the number decreases the load on your server. But in so doing it starts sending emails to many recipients using the email BCC header and tat starts to look more like spam. It’s difficult put a number on when it starts to become a problem because it depends on many other factors, like your server IP address and history as well as the content of the email.
