    I use default twentyten theme, no other plugins.

    The plugin sends notifications to all – admin and the subscribers.

    Issue: Although notification is sent to all subscribers, but “from” and “to” are the same!! In other words, although the subscriber gets the email notification correctly but his email is shown same as the same the admin:

    e.g.:

    from: admin@example.com
    to : admin @example.com

    how wierd! I am trying make sense out of this, but can’t.

    any explanation/help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

    This is not an issue, it is expected behaviour.

    Subscribe2 sends an email to the admin address and places the addresses of all recipients in the BCC email header.

    If you want emails to be addresses to specific subscribers visit the settings page and change the number of recipients per email to 1. This will result in many more emails being generated and perhaps the server will slow a little at the time of sending but you will get the recipients address in the To field.

    @mattyrob, couple of more questions.

    1. is it possible to exclude excerpt (keep everything else: post title, Permalink, etc.) in the notification mail?

    2. is it possible to include “Unsubscribe” link/button in the notification mail?

    Hello t-p!

    I’m just checking this issue has been resolved, MattyRob’s a busier man than I!

    You know that most, if not all, of the things you require:

    1. is it possible to exclude excerpt (keep everything else: post title, Permalink, etc.) in the notification mail?

    2. is it possible to include “Unsubscribe” link/button in the notification mail?

    …are available in the Settings sub-menu for Subscribe2?…
