  • Is there any way to prevent the user can send emails from the control panel “wp-admin” to other users?

    Today with terror I have found that any registered user can access the “wp-admin” and send a message to other registered users. Subscribe2 tab is only available with profile editing in wp-admin user .. this is a terrible mistake! I hate to think if a bad user starts sending messages to the rest.

    I need a fix!

    Regards

  • I have found the solution in the forum of Subscribe2, the truth I find that by default this enabled registered members to send emails to the rest … is a guaranteed spam nest!

    @werlisa,

    By default Subscirbe2 will only allow Administrator level users access to this page. If you are allowing people who register with your site to have administrator level privileges on your site then your content is at risk just as much from a bad user.

    @werlisa i used this plugin in past but i didn’t find this problem?
    May be its problem with permission to new users in your blog.

    Hi,I have problem with Subscribe2.

    In the last few weeks, Subscribe2 had been working fine. Unitl the last few days.

    The problem is that I can Remove/delete subscribers BUT it won’t Add any new subscribers. I don’t even get a notification when a visitor visits my blog and decides to “subscribe” or “unsubscribe.
