Under Audience Settings, we have the opt-in Checkbox enabled. However, it does not appear at checkout.

  • Also, does the opt-in appear on pages using WooCommerce Blocks?

Hi @dval09, sorry to hear you’re having issues with the plugin, we definitely want to try to help out. If you’re logged in as an existing subscriber the checkbox will not show up at checkout. However, for new or guest users, the checkbox should show up as expected.

If you’re still not seeing the checkbox show up under the circumstances as described, it sounds like there may be a conflict somewhere with a plugin or theme. You may want to download the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to see if it can spot something: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/.

Hope that helps, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you for your prompt response. Do you integrate with WooCommerce Blocks Plugin?

@dval09 our plugin renders the checkbox by default on a hook called woocommerce_after_checkout_billing_form and this typically ends up being rendered on the new account sign up pages.

If you need to change this hook, we’ve got a setting in the plugin setup process that will allow you to change this hook to whatever your theme needs.

Hi @ryanhungate I’ve changed the hook and it still does not appear. On mobile, however, it did appear on the traditional WooCommerce checkout. On desktop, it does not appear, and it does not appear using WooCommerce Blocks at all?

@dval09 we’ve heard back from the team – and there’s an active issue open here. Please feel free to continue this conversation over there, as they’re trying to put this into a future release. As far as I know, there is not a guaranteed timeline for deployment but please follow along for updates.

Closing out since this needs to be resolved on the other plugin.

    Edited because link didn’t stick.
