  • Unable to subscribe to forum topic. All that happens is the “Subscribe” changes to “| Subscribe”. I attempted to report this in the “Forum Bugs and Broken Things” thread, but it seems the post was deleted.

    Can you check your mail’s spam folder? Sometimes the automated spam filters pick up notification as spam.

    Been doing this a while. Nothing in the spam folder. Just happened to return here to see if this post was still up.

    The Subscribe doesn’t seem to work at all for me. I can even go to the subscriptions and it isn’t happening, they don’t show up. And they don’t result in any notifications in my email.

    As a follow-up on this topic, which I tried to contribute in the “Forum Bugs and Broken Things” thread, in the left hand sidebar there is a “Subscribe” button or link. Clicking on that link at this time results in ” | Subscribe ” appearing. What should appear is “Unsubscribe” as shows on forum topics subscribed to prior to two days ago.

    If I refresh the page where ” | Subscribe ” shows, “Subscribe” reappears. The Subscribe link does not currently work, though it is crossed off in the Forum Bugs and Broken Things thread as having been fixed.

    Having said that, I want to clarify, I am not talking about not receiving email notifications from subscribed to topics. Those topics previously subscribed to I do receive notifications for, as I do for plugin updates I perform. Therefore they would not go to spam because I already receive notifications from the forum email address on topics previously subscribed to (however, I did check).

    As a continuation of this thought, I also am not subscribed to this topic though I have checked the box to receive updates from this thread each time I reply and as I did when I opened the topic and I have attempted to subscribe to it via the left sidebar link. If it takes me some time to get back here, it is because I am not receiving any notifications of replies to this topic.

    I hope this somewhat clarifies what I attempted to say in the first post. The concern is that the issue has been marked off as “fixed” but it isn’t working in my case. I am using both Firefox and Chrome (latest releases).
