# Subnavigation

 * My question:
    Is it possible to show the Subnavigation only when the parent menuitem
   is active?
 * I hope someone has an answer.

 * thanks for your help, but i use wordpress 3.
 * i configured the navigation with the menu-tool. the template i use does not natively
   support menus. i include the menu with the menu-widget in the primary widget 
   area in the sidebar wich i adapted manually to get the primary and secondary 
   widget area.
 * now the menu-items and the sub-menu-items are shown in one list. what i want 
   is to only show the sub-menu-item when the parent-menu-item was clicked.
