My blog, http://www.projectijtihad.com is finally up and running and at a point that I like, at least I think it is 🙂 What do I need to do now to submit my blog? Does it need to be submitted so feeds can check for updated content?

    Thanks.

You do know that WordPress has been updated a few times since then, right? Your RSS feeds already exist. http://www.projectijtihad.com/blog/wp-rss2.php

I am not sure I understand your comment. What is the significance of the RSS feed?

Sorry , this is all new stuff for me!

what they mean is that you don’t need to ‘submit’ you site, your feed is already available to anyone who wants to subscribe at this address:

Things may become a little clearer if you can expand on what you consider “submitted.”

If you mean sites like weblogs.com and blo.gs then make sure you have pinging turned on and rpc.pingomatic.com is listed under Update Services under Options–>Writing when you’re logged in as admin.

He may be inquiring in regards to search engines. If that’s the case, I suggest a search here at for search engine optimization, and SEO.
