• Hi,

    Google Search console send me a New Coverage issue detected “Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’”

    The URL is the https://mydomainname/sitemap.html

    Inside the page source of sitemap.html you can see:
    <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,follow”/>
    so they are right.

    Any advice, how can I fix this?
    Thanks

  • Hei,
    No worries, here is your solution.

    1. Go to your XML Sitemaps plugin
    2. Click on Settings
    3. Uncheck the box “Include sitemap in HTML format”
    4. Click the button “Update options” (at the bottom.)
    5. Now click “Notify Search Engines about your sitemap or your main sitemap and all sub-sitemaps now.” – (at top)
    6. Now click on “validate fix” on your search console.
