I am using the free version of user submitted posts on futhdhub.com/upload-cards. I require users to submit an image.

When I publish their post, the image shows up in the post on the site. However, if I try to edit the post in the admin dashboard, the image isn’t there – it is only shown as the featured image.

Do you know why this is happening?

    Thanks, Dan.

Yep, that’s how it works. Submitted images:

    – Are added to the Media Library
    – Are attached to submitted posts as Custom Fields
    – Are displayed automatically on the front-end
    – Are NOT added to post content

This is by design as it provides maximum flexibility in terms of where and how the images are displayed. To control how the images are displayed on the front-end, you can visit the plugin setting, “Images Auto-Display”.

Thanks. Is there a way to automatically add each image to post content? It would be ideal for my site.

It’s not a feature of the free version of USP, but it is possible with the Pro version. If you decide to purchase, I would be glad to help you set it up.
