Submit for Review and Add Media problem

    Hey guys,

    I’m having a problem here. I am unable to find away to allow Author to add media along with submitting for review all at the same time. Author can do everything, Contributor setting only allows for submitting for review.

    Ia there a work around for this issue? Thanks in advance.

    The Author role has the following capabilites:
    delete_posts, delete_published_posts, edit_posts, edit_published_posts, publish_posts, read, upload_files.
    This means that they can add posts (and media) and their posts are not held for review.

    The core WordPress options don’t allow you to edit user roles. You can use a plugin such as User Role Editor. Another similar one is Advanced Access Manager.
