submit button on a forum

I just took over a website that has a WP page in it. I’m new to wordpress so I don’t know a lot about it. The submit button in the forum is set that when a person leaves a comment. , it gets posted automatically. I would like it to go to an email first, so it can be checked out before every one else sees it. Can someone help me?

log in to the admin side of the site

settings -> discussion -> and check An administrator must always approve the comment
