Submit button not working b/c of conflict with Gmail SMTP plugin

    CF7 seems to have a conflict with the Gmail SMTP plugin.

    The submit button in forms is displayed but not functioning. When clicked, the spinning arrows are displayed endlessly and the message is never submitted.

    (I’ve tried the current as well as older plugin version.)

    Any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it?

    I just noticed that the problem is most likely due to an issue with the Gmail SMTP plugin, rather than CF7. So I’ll move my problem to their support forum.
