I have created a simple layout with just a single image field and a title field and the Submit button if greyed out.

What we want to have is a page the members of our camera club can access for a bi-monthly digital contest. They will have to be logged in and there will only be one theme so I don’t need a dropdown for that or any other option other than title.

What you describe should work fine.

The submit button is normally greyed out until changes are made. Does it stay greyed after you select an image?

Also, I assume the title is a text field. These do not register changes until you click in another field, so if you enter a title first, you would need to click the image selection button to make the Submit button appear.

That could be confusing when there is only one item, so for the next version I’ll look into perhaps making the Submit button enabled after a single click in a text field.

Thanks for the quick response. I was able to select a file and enter a title but the Submit was not active. I decided to copy a template and modify it instead of creating a new one and it works fine now. Awesome plugin by the way.

We are wanting to allow members of our club to critique and score the images so I was wondering if you knew of a plugin that we can use to view and comment on the images? Perhaps a gallery plugin. Ideally it would be best to be able to create custom fields for the comment section.

Within EntryWizard (in the Data Management section of the Webform, click “Manage Items” ) you have the option of attaching uploaded images to a page. You can even (Data Management section of the Webform) upload a .csv file of additional information to use in the display. This process creates copies of the images with captions, titles, etc.

That’s what we use, but we only allow simple comments from members, with no extra fields.

If you want something more elaborate than just comments, there are plenty of galleries out there. But I found most expect you to add titles, etc manually. Perhaps there is something out there that would use the captions, titles, etc created as described above, as the built-in WordPress gallery does.

The only gallery I have found that allows comments is Nextgen Gallery Pro. It save the comments with the images but I can’t find any way to modify the comments section for our needs. Unless I am mistaken, what your describing would be something that admin would have to do and not done by members on the fly who are browsing contest images and decide to score and critique a particular image. If you think of anything else, I would love to hear from you Josie.
