# Submit button doesn’t work

 * Hello,
 * I’ve searched for similar issues on the forum but couldn’t find a solution to
   my problem so here’s my post. (Sorry if my writing isn’t perfect, english isn’t
   my first language).
    Since last wordpress update, I’ve had an issue with my contact
   forms. First I realized that the captcha didn’t appear anymore. And also, that
   the submit button didn’t work anymore. I’ve deleted the captcha option but it
   changed nothing. When I click on submit button, nothing happens. No spinning 
   wheel, no confirmation… Nothing.
 * Somebody with a similar issue suggested to put <p> and </p> around the different
   field names, but it didn’t work for me.
 * I’m no expert so I’m a bit lost about what to do.

 * Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact
   Form 7, Flamingo and WordPress Importer, and clearing all cache data.

 * Hello,
 * Thanks a lot for your response ! Nothing changed when I deactivated the plugins,
   but the submit button worked again when I switched to the default theme…
    Does
   this mean I should address this matter to the theme creator ? They already told
   them they’ve got nothing to do with it…

 * Yes. The result tells that the problem exists in the theme. I would stop using
   the theme.

 * Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond. Unfortunately, it would take an 
   insane amount of time to migrate and design my photo galleries somewhere else.
   I’ll check with them again, thank you !
