Hi. I have a new problem with EDD plugin (that I think it is one of the best).
In my country, It is not usual using Email in online purchases, they use phone number instead.
So my user sign up in my website without Email and just with phone number.
The problem is Submit button in checkout page does not work for my users do not have Email and I test it. When I add an Email to the profile, the button works and go to payment gateway.

So my question is, how to solve that problem?

Hi @shdehnavi

I am not sure EDD will work without Email ID field or not. As per my knowledge, email id field must be present.

@cklosows can you please tell, it will work without email id or not?

EDD Does require the email address by default. There are some custom code samples in our library to add/remove required fields, however without an email we don’t have a location to send any purchase receipts, send download links, or any other way to inform the user of their purchase.

But I could solve the problem. without Email in checkout page (not required), it does not go to Payment gateway and we see “invalid Email” Error.
