• Dear Sir
I’m new to WP and just starting to make my first WP site and found your Theme the best for my needs.
I have made some pages with child pages which make up the top menu.
When I hoover over the menu point the submenu folds down. That is when I use Firefox, MSIE and Safari but not Chrome. All browsers in the latest version.
    Chrome version 45.0.2454.99 m.
Please have a look at my site:
    Kind Regards,
    ErikM

    Hello,

For us your menu is working fine at Chrome – did you tried Chrome on a different computer or in the incognito mode?

    Hi Gavick
First; Thanks for spending your time to answare my Q’s. And for a beatiful and simple WordPress Theme!

About Chrome and not unfolding the menu. Chrome works fine but only for some time. Not sure how long. Suddenly it stops unfolding the menu. Don’t know what triggers it. I tried shutting every posible chrome instanse in memory via windows taskmanager and processexp.exe from Sysinternals. No good. (Maybe I’m missing some process?).
I’ve disabled all plug-ins (exentions) in Chrome. No good.
I’ve run Chrome in InCognito mode. No good.
Ive uninstalled Chrome (incl. all settings). Reinstlled. No good. Still no unfolding of the menu.
I’ve sign out of my Windows 10 account. Logged into Windows 10 again. And then Chrome works fine again and is unfolding the menu!?!?!?
So it looks like some process not related to Chrome itself that is messing up. Maybe. Java? Flash? I don’t no much about coding php, java and if java is a part of your GK Portfolio template at all?! And still when Chrome doesn’t work Firefox and Edge is working nicely and for as long as infinity it seems. So maybe not Java?! I don’t know. Different java for different browsers? Anyways, some process unknown to me.
Do you have any sugestion as to what I should be looking fore?
You might try this site I’ve just started building as well:

Both site are using your GK Portfolio.
    Kind Regards

@kvarnsten – I’m really sorry, but it seems that this issue is related to your windows installation, for us the menu is working fine.

I’m also having trouble on Chrome – just on a PC…it works fine on a Mac. So yes I’m assuming it’ a Wondows problem. Has anyone found a fix for this? It’s such a great theme – I hate to have to change themes over this. My site is blacktankdesign.com
    thanks!

    Hi Gavick,

The submenu is not working in Chrome in combination with Windows 10.
The submenu is working perfectly in combination with (for example) Windows 7.
So this problem apparently only relates to the newest version of Windows.
Can you fix this? Thanks in advance! GK Portfolio is a great theme! I don’t want to start all over again, my new website is almost finished.

@franklangedjk57 – I’m sorry but we cannot reproduce this issue here: https://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/portfolio/index.php

Both Chrome for OS X and Windows 10 are working fine.
