Submenu in mobile devices
-
Hi,
I have a local website for testing new releases of plugins and theme before I update the life website. I use a child theme with Responsive Theme as parent.
The menus of last update version 4.5.4 of Responsice Theme looks good on mobile device an works fine, except when there are more than one submenu under a parent menu. I will explain.
| parentmenu-1 v| parentmenu-2 v| | submenu-1-1 | submenu-2-1 | | submenu-1-2 v| submenu-2-2 v| | subsubmenu-1-2-1 | subsubmenu-2-2-1 | | subsubmenu-1-2-2 | subsubmenu-2-2-2 | | submenu-1-3 | submenu-2-3 v| | submenu-1-4 | subsubmenu-2-3-1 | | submenu-1-5 | subsubmenu-2-3-2 |
“Click” means hitting the arrow “v”
“Touch” means hitting the menu entryClick on “parentmenu-1 v” shows “submenu 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5” – fine.
Touch on “submenu-1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5” opens the linked page – fine.
Click on “submenu-1-2 v” shows “subsubmenu-1-2-1, 1-2-2” – fine.
Touch on “subsubmenu-1-2-1” opens page – fine. Now the strange behaviour
Click on “parentmenu-2 v” shows “submenu 2-1, 2-2, 2-3” – fine.
Touch on “submenu-2-1, 2-2, 2-3” opens the linked page – fine.
Click on “submenu-2-2 v” shows “subsubmenu-2-2-1, 2-2-2” – fine.
Touch on “subsubmenu-2-2-1” opens linked page – fine, BUT also shows “subsubmenu-2-2-1, 2-2-2”Now clicking the second submenu:
Click on “submenu-2-3 v” shows “subsubmenu-2-3-1, 2-3-2” – still fine, BUT when touching entry “subsubmenu-2-3-1”, then the other “subsubmenu-2-2-1,…” are also shown AND nothing happens. A second touch on wanted entry “subsubmenu-2-3-1” will shows up the linked page.In short of all this explanation I can say: having more than one submenu under a parent menu, then the first one in the column works as expected, on the other submenus I need to touch twice the submenu entry to see the page.
I hope the explanation is understandable.
