Subfolder not created for new site?

    After establishing a multisite, folder based network, I added my first site and expected a subfolder would to be automatically created on my host(gator). Was I wrong in expecting this?

    This sounds very basic to me so I suspect I am missing something fundamental.

    Yes 🙂

    Think about it differently for a second. When you make a page called ‘about’ the URL is domain.com/about/ but there’s no file or folder named ‘about’ on the server, right?

    Sites are the same way. Virtual!
