    Hello,

Love this plugin, it saved many a headache in my transition to SSL. I have a few multisite installs, the apex site is secure on all, however, none of the subsites are. I’ve tried everything I can think of and need an extra set of eyes, or two, or three.

I’m using AWS certificates which I believe are set-up correctly but perhaps not.

Any insight on this would be immensely helpful and appreciated!

    Thanks!

To further point out the security issue – https://fundament.cognitive-design.org/ – the browser indicates that the certificate is invalid though I ran the site through online validators such as SSL Checker that say its valid.

    Thanks!

When I do a test here:
    https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=fundament.cognitive-design.org

It says “certificate name mismatch”. SSL checker probably detects an SSL certificate, but does not match it with the domain.

Finally got resolution! The valid certificate furnished for my apex domains is from cloudflare. The wildcard (*) A record doesn’t provide sub-domains with an SSL certificate in the CF DSN settings, thus, a unique A record must be created for each sub-domain, which then enables it to be secured.

Just wanted to post this to perhaps help someone else using Cloudflare in addition to this great plugin!

    Marked as “resolved”.
