    Hi @thiagomiro

Which version are you using? Have you tried with the latest(1.6.5.1)?

If so, are you receiving an error message? That will help us troubleshoot?

I use WordPress 3.6 and plugin version: 1.6.5.1
When I upgraded the plugin to version 1.6.5.1, I started to receive the following notification next to each image I used the plugin:

http://img.telhacast.com/2013/08/playercast-47.jpg must be within the website home URL (http://telhacast.com)”

    Hi @thiagomiro

Ok, and does this work for you if the images are not on a subdomain?

When you say subdomain, is this a Multisite and using Smush.it from the sub site?

    @thiagomiro,

This is actually on purpose. What is the main URL for your site? Assumed something like http://www.telhacast.com or http://telhacast.com

The Smish.it plugin cannot be used when the images are not local to the server. For example many user want to setup a subdomain for images and use a CDN (Content Delivery Network). The problem is the Smush.it plugin just does not have the ability to update the image on the remote server.

So there is code in place that will check (or try to check) if the URL starts with the same URL as the site.

But let us know your setup and maybe we can do some extra logic.

    Hey there.

We haven’t heard from you in awhile, so I just wanted to check in to make sure all was good.

This thread was marked resolved, but please, if you still need help then just respond and open it back up. We can then take it from there. 🙂

Hope you have a fantastic day!

I host my images on a subdomain of my website so that it charges faster. Wp-Smush it used to reduce the size of images. After the last update, the following message appears next to each image file that I try to apply the plugin.

    “ERROR:
http://img.telhacast.com/2013/09/comentadores-3.jpg must be within the website home URL (http://telhacast.com)”

This is the only information I can gather.

The subdomain is on the same server, the images ARE NOT hosted externally, only use this feature to speed up page loading.

    Hi there,

I’m afraid that a different sub domain is viewed as being hosted externally and the Yahoo Smush.it service won’t smush these.
