subdomain wordpress posts in the home page of main site

    Dear friends,
    I have a website made in html (I renamed the index.htm as index.php).
    And a subfolder in the same website in which i installed wordpress.

    Now I want the wordpress post titles(latest 5) to display in my main website home page(index.php).

    Can you please suggest me the easiest way(seo friendly) to display those post titles? if it can be done through feed url, then what should be the php code to display feed..
    or any other better solution?

    please advise.
