Is it possible to use this plugin in a subdomain multisite environment where the jetpack is under the control of the network administrator instead of the individual child site admins?

I installed the plugin last night and network activated it. I then saw on the parent and all the child sites have the ability to connect jetpack to wordpress.com in order to activate and start using the plugin’s features.

How I would prefer for this plugin to work (and I don’t know whether it’s actually possible or not) is to network activate the plugin, and connect the jetpack for all the child sites under one account, automatically. I would also prefer to control which plugin components are activate so that when I make the change to the network level configurations, those settings automatically apply to the entire multisite network.

    Is this possible?

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

I’m afraid that’s not possible at the moment. Each site admin will have to connect Jetpack to their WordPress.com account to complete the activation.

Other Network admins have suggested such an improvement, and I took note of your suggestion. Although this is not on our roadmap at the moment, we’ll consider your idea for a future Jetpack update!

    Thanks for your feedback!

+1 here for Alexander’s suggestion, I have this very same need on a network of mine.
