Subdomain mapped to category?

  • Hi all,

    Can anyone guide to a solution for this? I have a blog set up for our production company, with a root category of “Mythos Productions,” and one of its sub-categories (which also has sub-categories) is for our game-consulting work (Synthesizing Nirvana).

    I also have a subdomain for our site, gaming.mythosproductions.com.

    What I am trying to accomplish is to point gaming.mythosproductions.com directly to the blog but only have it show the Synthesizing Nirvana category posts.

    Is there a way to do this? Or am I shooting myself in the foot somehow?

    Any input greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Chris

  • Does anyone have any input on this?

    I’ll take any suggestions I can get at this point, even if it is to duplicate the blog in the sub-domain folder structure (which I’d like to avoid if possible).

    I tried this
    === Plugin Info ===
    Name: Category Subdomains
    Author: Adam Dempsey
    Website: http://demp.se/y/software/category-subdomains
    Requires at least: WordPress 2.5

    It worked but I couldnt get my server to direct to the page. But the URL’s worked good
