# Subdomain gone

 * Hi I wanted to try the updraft plugin but I think I did something wrong.
 * I uploaded the backup file to my subdomain. But now the subdomain vanishes. Whenever
   I type in my subdomain it goes to the main domain. Can go to my subdomain’s admin
   as well.
 * Can’t find a similar issue on this forum. How can I undo this change? I already
   tried to delete the plugin but that didn’t work.

 * If you are migrating (one URL to a different URL) you will need the Migrator 
   add-on. The free version only works if you are restoring a backup on the same
   site or URL.
