# subdomain bug??

 * i am not sure if is from wordpress or from hosting but my website is open with
   any registred subdomain so if i write mywebsite.domain.com is working so if anyone
   want to say this is my website can do..

 * It’s not WordPress, WP assumes any request it receives came in through proper
   channels. The subdomain will not persist into permalinks, WP uses whatever is
   configured in Settings to build permalinks.
 * I don’t know much about server configuration, but I believe open subdomains is
   a common configuration. I think it has to do with how your DNS zone file is configured.
   Changing it should restrict subdomains to those you specify, though I’m unsure
   exactly what you need to do.
 * Another option would be to add an .htaccess entry that routes any subdomain besides
   www to a 404 page.
