Subdirs, Subdomains and Multiple Domains

I’d like to configure WordPress to be able to handle all of the following as different sites and I can’t find a configuration that will allow it. Is this possible?

http://www.example.com
http://subdomain.example.com
http://www.example.com/subdir/
http://subdomain.example.com/subdir/
http://www.example.fr
http://www.example.fr/subdir/
http://www.otherexample.com
http://www.otherexample.com/subdir/

Obviously, “subdomain” and “subdir” could be any string based on varying needs.

I tried to install WP Multi Network (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-multi-network/) but that didn’t appear to help as I was trying to configure various sites.

Any advice?
